Having trouble getting the check engine light to stay off on a 2006 Ford Taurus. I have an extended warranty 12,000 miles or 12 months. I have been back to the used car dealer and was told to take it to their company for repair. I have been back 6 times over a period of about 3 months and have had to pay for what they said I needed a tune up. They finally gave up and told me to take it to a ford dealer. I had to pay 370.00 so far with them and car is still in the shop and by this time the mileage has just exceeded 12,000 miles. They now say they will pay nothing because the mileage has been over 12,000 miles although I have tried to have this fixed over the past 3 months. Ford still has the car and wants more money to try to come up with an answer. Do I have a case for a lawyer?
