Alfa Romeo Kamal - the first SUV - spy camera
Employees of a company owned by Fiat, Elasis (Pomigliano), photographed the concept, Alfa Romeo Kamal, revealed for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in 2003. Total necamuflat, a study design appears abandoned.
These photos, taken at the Elasis, were made in September, but what is not known for sure is if the vehicle is only a test prototype of the future Alfa Romeo SUV or just a design study abandoned, which was moved to another location.
There were rumors that Alfa Romeo Kamal will be launched in 2010, the Alfa 159 platform. But those plans appear to be changed after takeover by U.S. group Fiat Chrysler.
By the middle of this month, Sergio Marchionne reveals industrial plan for the Fiat group and so we will certainly find an SUV in the future Alfa Romeo range.
