Audi A5 Sportback - elegant as a coupe, as a practical Avant

Audi has officially new A5 Sportback, which combines the best advantages of different classes: emotional and elegant as a Coupe, Sedan as a comfortable and practical as an Avant. Audi A5 Sportback will be launched on the market in September.

The new Audi A5 Sportback is an important step in automotive design. The coupe with five doors excels in sports style profile. Door hatchback, large fits perfectly in the back design. Extension spoiler with integrated speaker provides a great contrast, amplifying rate sport.

Figure coupe-style roof is the result of extension, ending with lower than 35 mm to A4 Sedan and location bridging the front and rear as on the outside, led to a generous Wheelbase of 2810 mm.

Trunk volume is 480 liters (almost equal to the A4 Avant), but by folding the rear seats can reach 980 liters.

All motor proposed by the new Audi A5 Sportback receive direct injection of fuel and comply with the Euro 5 pollution. Initially, the A5 Sportback will be available with two petrol engines and three diesel. Petrol versions, the 2.0 TFSI quattro 211 HP, 350 Nm and 3.2 V6 with 265 HP quattro is equipped with Audi valvelift producing more power and torque at lower consumption.

In the range are the diesel motor: 2.0 TDI with 170 HP and 350 Nm with manual six-tier system and start / stop, 2.7 TDI with 190 HP and 400 Nm and 3.0 V6 TDI quattro with 240 HP and 500 Nm.

With a special design, use high efficiency and maximum power provided by motor TFSI, FSI and TDI, the new Audi A5 Sportback will go on the market in September, may be ordered at a price starting from 36,050 Euro (for version 2.0 TDI). A version with a more attractive price will be launched in mid 2010.
