Audi expands plant in Hungary |

Audi has purchased 200 hectares of land near the factory which has Győr in Western Hungary, doubling the surface properties held there, a sign that the German manufacturer will expand its activities, write German newspaper Handelsblatt quoted by Hotnews.
Audi produces at its plant located at several tens of kilometers of Austria A3 Cabriolet and TT models. In addition, Gyor were produced last year more than 1.4 million cars from the Volkswagen Group engines.
With the acquisition of 200 hectares, for about 25 million, Audi has doubled in Hungary and surface properties will expand engine production, new investment as possible and in logistics and research.
Audi announced in late 2009 that it will invest 500 million Euro in engine production factory in Gyor where the first six months of the year were made about 880,000 engines and 21,500 sports car. Last year production reached 72,000 cars, while the engine has reached nearly 1.4 million.
