Audi Q3 official debut at the Shanghai Auto Show 2011

Audi has confirmed that the new Audi Q3 small SUV class will celebrate its public debut at the auto show in Shanghai. The company did not reveal too many details, apart from a few sketches to present design of the new crossover will fight with BMW X1.

In a press release announcing the results of Audi in China, recording the first quarter of 2011 over 64,000 vehicles delivered, the official revealed that the German manufacturer Audi Q3 will have its world premiere at Auto Shanghai 2011.

In the first quarter, Audi AG has set a new record of highest growth of its foreign market: the company sold a total of 64,122 cars in China and Hong Kong, 24.6% more than the same period last year .

Sales of imported vehicles rose by 66.4% to a total of 11,481 units. Audi A8 L, released in March, had an impressive start with sales of only 1655 units in March.

In two weeks, the Audi world will focus again on China: Audi Q3 it will celebrate its world premiere at Auto Shanghai 2011, open to the public between 19 and 28 April.

Too many details have not yet been disclosed, but we know that the new Q3 will be built at the SEAT plant in Spain and will be a strong competitor for the BMW X1.
