Audi Q7 gets a new ultra-efficient engine, 3.0 TDI quattro with 204 bhp

Audi has added a new member of the family Q7. The new Q7 3.0 TDI offering 150 kW / 204 hp while the average consumption is just 7.2 litres/100 km - better value than all direct competitors. Tiptronic quattro system and the box are standard.
The new 3.0-liter V6 TDI engine is a high-tech. Weighs less than 200 kg and measures to minimize extensive internal friction. Innovative thermal management system - a new feature in many of Audi engines - is very complex in the 3.0 TDI engine. The engine block and cylinder heads have separate cooling circuits, and does not circulate coolant while the engine block heat.
Common-rail injection system provides up to 2,000 bar pressure, time and turbo camshafts have been optimized for maximum efficiency. Start-stop system disables the engine once the vehicle is stopped at a red light and energy recovery system - standard throughout the line model - storing energy during braking and decelerations.
The new 3.0 V6 TDI 204 hp meet EU5 emission standards. On average it consumes 7.2 litres/100km, equivalent to 189 g CO 2 / km - the lowest value in its class in Europe. Efficient engine delivers 150 kW / 204 hp and 450 Nm available immediately after the point of idling at 1250 rpm and kept constant up to 2750 rpm.
Audi Q7 3.0 TDI accelerates from 0-100 km / h in 9.1 seconds, and air suspension Optional version with a top speed of 205 km / h (standard reaches 202 km / h).
The new Audi Q7 offers the same core as the rest of the transmission line. Eight-speed Tiptronic transmission system delivers torque to the quattro permanent four-wheel drive. Off-road and downhill assistance system are more pleasant and safe off-road driving.
With a wheelbase of 3 meters and a total length of 5.09 meters, the interior of the Audi Q7 3.0 TDI V6 offers enough space of five or seven passengers (depending on version), and the luggage compartment has a capacity of 2035 liters .
Despite generous fitting, the new base model Audi Q7 3.0 TDI costs just 51,800 euros in Germany, making it the most appealing SUV in its class.
