Chevrolet Cruze, 10 airbags in 2011

2011 Chevrolet Cruze will offer customers 10 airbags - a first in its segment. Thus, passengers aboard the Cruze will be safe if an accident maximum.

Chevrolet has announced that Scott Thomas, one of the engineers who worked on the creation of 10 airbags Cruze, has over 30 patents registered in safety - most of which are awarded to new or improved airbags and restraint systems.

Chevrolet Cruze now offers front airbags, head curtain, side front and back and knee.

"My colleagues and I have made more effort into products such as Cruze," Thomas said. "Whoever buys this car will be still knowing that they will also drive a vehicle with advanced safety technology in this segment.

The current model Chevrolet Cruze offers six airbags: driver airbag, passenger, side airbags and curtain aribag sites.
