Chevrolet Volt Dealers Bring New Customers

Chevrolet Volt demonstration cars are an important attraction for dealers because they allow customers to look, touch and drive an electric car to enjoy broad autonomy. Chevrolet Volt brings brand awareness.

"Volt certainly bring new customers to the dealers," said Rick Alpern, general manager at Keyes Chevrolet in Van Nuys, California. "We have seen customers who have a brand of competition and never went to a Chevy dealer. Now they have a machine shop on their list of Chevrolet Volt's due. "

Chevrolet Dealers initial launch markets in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Virginia and Washington DC received over 550 demonstration vehicles Chevrolet Volt to offer customers a test drive. By the end of this year more than 2,500 U.S. dealers will get a dedicated test machine.

Chevrolet Volt is expected to deliver in all 50 states by the end of 2011. Deliveries began in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii in the first quarter of 2011.

"We know that the best experience is the wheel of a Volt," said Cristi Lady, Chevrolet marketing manager. "A bonus is that our dealers see increased showroom traffic and exposure to customers effective line of Chevrolet models, including Cruze, Malibu and Equinox.

"It is hard to limit the number of units sold Volt to potential customers when demand is so great, but the Chevrolet Volt has value for its portfolio beyond increasing sales," says Landy. "Our dealers will take the Chevrolet Volt test patterns for six months and then sell it."

Since November 2011 the Chevrolet Volt will be sold on markets in Europe at a price of 35.252 Euro + VAT, the manufacturer announced at the Geneva Motor Show.
