Dacia Asked Aid Of 10.5 Million Euros For The New Logan

Automobile Dacia has requested help from the state last year worth 42.4 million lei (10.5 million) for development of the X52 project, the codename for the new generation Logan, scheduled for launch in 2012.

Also last year, the auto manufacturer has obtained a grant worth 20 million for the commissioning of a production line for the new Euro 5 family of engines, H4 and H5, which includes engines, Mediafax.

Funding was obtained through the Sectoral Operational Programme "Increasing Economic Competitiveness", co-financed by European Regional Development Fund.

The Dacia Logan was launched in 2004 at the Paris Motor Show and is currently on its platform was built five models, Sandero, Logan Pick-up, Logan Van, Logan MCV, Duster.

From 2004 until October 2010, the Dacia plant in Pitesti 1 million cars built Logan.
