Dacia Duster Petrol Engine Receives A New 2.0-Liter With 140 Hp

Dacia plant in Pitesti was producing Dacia SUV equipped with a new petrol engine for foreign markets. Dacia Duster new customers now have 2.0 liter engine that develops 140 hp.

The statistics APIA (Association of Automotive Manufacturers and Importers), appearing on export Dacia Duster two units, with engines of 2 liters and 150 hp Renault but his range does not present a 2.0 liter engine and 150 horsepower.

Oreviceanu Anca, Director of Communications Office of Renault in Romania, said the Automobile Dacia Duster began producing a version equipped with 2-liter gasoline engine that develops 140 horsepower variant intended solely for foreign markets.

Dacia officials did not provide what the market will be sold Duster 2-liter engine, but this version could be reserved for markets in the Middle East and Russia.

It is the first time local manufacturer Dacia cars offer customers a larger petrol engine of 1.6 liters and 105 horsepower. In Romania, Dacia Duster is available with two engines, a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 105 horsepower and a diesel with two power options: 90 hp and 110 hp.
