Dacia registrations in France rose by 47%

Dacia registrations recorded in July fastest growing French market, 47.5% to 8934 units, Romanian manufacturer placing it in position in the top fifth best-selling brands, a market decline by 13 %.

Dacia market share advanced 5.3% in July from 3.1% in the same month last year, being surpassed only car manufacturer Renault brands, Peugeot, Citroën and Volkswagen, according to the French carmaker Committee (CCFA).

Dacia was the biggest advance of enrollment and at seven months, with growth more than doubled, to 70,183 units from 29,945 units in January-July last year. Advances Dacia was the fastest in France and seven months. Market share for the period rose to 5.1% from 2.2% in same period of 2009. At seven months, was placed from Dacia Renault Peugeot Citroen, Volkswagen and Ford.

Dacia registrations in Spain rose by 23.3% in July, 1016 units, compared with same period of 2009, while the market declined by 26.7%, according to the Spanish association of car importers.

On the other hand, in Germany, Renault and Dacia car registrations fell by 33.1% in July, compared to the same month last year to 15,342 units, while the overall market saw a decline of 30 2% to 237,428 units.

Of the 33 manufacturers analyzed, seven had a positive trend in July, that the BMW Mini, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes, Porsche, Smart and Sonstige, according to German Car Registrations Office KBA.
