DaimlerChrysler will build trucks in China

Daimler and Foton Motor have signed a joint venture contract and receive approval to produce trucks in China. Daimler plans a production of medium and heavy trucks Auman brand, Mercedes-Benz technology.

Daimler and Foton Motor have made significant progress regarding negotiations on a joint venture equally. The contract was signed in the presence of German Chancellor, Ms. Angela Merkel and Prime Minister Republic of China, Wen Jiabao. The contract was approved by Chinese government authorities authorized.
