Fiat recall 500,000 units for verification Grande Punto

Fiat Group recall the service for inspection, 500,000 units Fiat Grande Punto Abarth Grande Punto and sold in Europe because they could present to the steering failure, says Automotive News.
This is the third, and largest, recall since 2006, when Fiat is trying to repair the steering column of these models. Now affected models and the Grande Punto Abarth Grande Punto, built between 2008 and 2009.
"Around 500,000 cars Grande Punto and Grande Punto Abarth, half of which were sold in Italy were called to check because of possible anomalies in the steering column, Fiat announced, quoted by Automotive News.
RAPEX, the European body responsible for consumer protection, said that Fiat Grande Punto models checked for "a possible mistake in the steering shaft, which could lead to loss of steering control.
In November 2006, recalled about 21,000 Fiat Grande Punto units right hand drive, sold in the UK to verify the same problems, the girdle of direction. In March 2008, Fiat Grande Punto recalled about 44,000 units drive on the left, built between March 2006 and September 2007, for an unspecified problem at the bottom of the steering column.

could you please tell me if anyone as had problems with power stearing moter since coming back from recall fiat garage had to take my car in for recall not been right since it come back power stearing motor gone
