Fluence Renault - Megane Sedan's replacement is launched at the Frankfurt IAA 2009
Renault launches new Frankfurt Fluence sedan that will replace the successful model Megane II Sedan. New Renault Fluence will be launched on the market with 7 engines, 2 and 5 petrol, diesel, and in 2011 and a full electric version.
Renault Fluence was created by French manufacturer targeting the most attractive title conquest sedan in its segment, offering some facilities departajarea of them: in addition to outside sports, Fluence is a comfortable cabin, full of new technologies.
New Renault Fluence is the size of a traditional mid-range sedans (4620 mm long, 1809 mm wide, 1479 mm high and 2702 mm wheelbase), providing a generous luggage Volume: 530 dm3. But passengers have more space available than any rival in its class, front seats benefit from 1480 mm and 1475 mm rear.
The driver has an ergonomic position in the new Renault Fluence wheel, dashboard controls, including navigation and air-conditioning system and audio system control, the phone and the cruise control / speed limiter are on the steering column.
The cabin includes many storage facilities with a capacity exceeding 23 liters, including lighting and chilled glove box of 9 liters and 2.2 liters in one area of the center console.
Regarding safety, the new Renault Fluence will offer as standard: ABS and AFU (Emergency Brake Assist), ESP, up to 6 airbags, three-point safety belts with pretensioners and load limiters, cruise control and limitation speed, next-generation headrests, etc..
The range of engines of the new Renault Fluence sedan is made up of 2 units petrol: 1.6 16V 110 hp and manual gearbox or automatic with 140 hp 2.0 16V CVT or manual box. Customers have the choice and five diesel variants, variations of propulsorul 1.5 dCi: dCi 85, dCi 90 DPF3, dCi 105, dCi 110 and dCi 110 DPF DPF3 with new DCT twin-clutch transmission.
All models have diesel engine emissions to 119 g CO2/km qualifying for Renault eco2 signature.
In 2011, the Renault range is enriched with a completely electric version of the new Renault Fluence.
New Renault Fluence will be built at the plant Oyak of Bursa (Turkey), where it was produced and Megane II Sedan, best-selling three major markets: Turkey, Russia and Romania and will be available in November 2009 European dealers.
