American manufacturer Ford has reported first half net profit of 4.7 billion dollars, with 3.8 billion dollars over the same period of 2009 results, and revenue rising to 8.2 billion dollars, nearly 60 billion . dollars
Sales advanced to 2.18 million units in January-June 2009 to 2,670,000 units in the first half of this year, according to Ford's financial report. In Europe, sales increased from 743 million to 836 million machines by machines. The group's largest market was North America, with 1.2 million units sold, up from 808,000 cars in the first half of 2009.
