Geneva Mitsubishi launches new small class vehicle

Mitsubishi has revealed the first details and pictures of a small class overall new vehicle will be built in Thailand. The model will be premiered at the Geneva Motor Show and will be launched on the market with fuel efficient engines are 1.0 and 1.2

Mitsubishi will launch its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2011, a new small class vehicle will be built in Thailand, which did not reveal too many details, other than those two sketches.

The new plant, the first new production facility of Mitsubishi in the past 16 years, will have a capacity of 150,000 units per year, and could be expanded to 300,000 units by 2013.

The model will be sold in emerging markets but also in Japan, and will be priced at 400,000 baht (10,000 euros) in Thailand.

Mitsubishi's new model will be launched on the market with fuel efficient engines of 1.0 and 1.2 liters.
