A jury of 59 automotive journalists from 25 countries selected by secret ballot, the Ten cars eligible for the "World Car of the Year", based on the experience of each candidate and their professionalism. The jury is balanced both Asia, Europe and North America and other parts of the world.

- Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The next step will be to reassess the jury of the top 10 cars in both classes, to prepare the final round of voting in this month. Top three of the finalists will be announced at the Geneva Motor Show on March 2, at a press conference, and in April, the International Auto Show in New York will find the winning cars.
