Honda aims to launch new environmental models
CEO Takanobu Ito said Honda should adopt a new strategy to cope with the requirements of the automotive market, especially dezvolyarea hybrid and electric models.
Honda will establish a new development strategy. Japanese company will invest in the development of ecological models and improving existing ones. It is imperative to develop this side cross to cope with the demand of economic and ecological models.
Honda CEO, Takanobu Ito, said IMA hybrid technology to be developed, for a plug-in model for Japanese and American market by 2012 and improved technology used in the model hydrogen FCX Clarity. Ito completed application saying that compact cars has increased worldwide economic, and Honda should respond quickly to these changes.
Honda will launch this fall a hybrid version of the model Jazz, followed next year to launch new technology-based compact models used in the CR-Z and Insight. The new Honda Civic hybrid Honda will be the first to use Li-Ion batteries. Honda plans to launch 2012 as the first plug-in models, new economic engines and a new type of transmission.
