Honda increased its profit by 96% |

For the fiscal year that ended on March 31, 2010, Honda has announced a profit of 2.18 billion euros, out of total sales of 69.4 billion euros - an increase of 96% over the previous fiscal year.
Honda has reported 582 million euros profit for the first quarter of this year, an increase of 28% of sales. Japanese manufacturer has benefited from increased demand from China and India and the U.S. markets and the recovery of Western Europe.
Honda expects fiscal year 2010-2011 be and better, projecting a net profit of 2.78 billion euros, amid the sales will total 75.5 billion euros.
In the fiscal year ended March 31, 2010, Honda has sold 3.4 million vehicles and 2.6 million motorcycles. For the 2010-2011 fiscal year, Honda expects a volume of 3.6 million vehicles sold.
