Honda Personal-Neo Urban Transport Concept for the first time in Los Angeles

Honda has unveiled a new design study at the Los Angeles Auto Show - Staff-Neo Urban Transport (P-NUT), a coupe-style vehicle, ultra compact and stylish city that can accommodate three passengers in the best comfort .
Designed as an ultra-compact vehicle, ideal for use in cities or in smaller urban areas, the concept P-nut stands in a central driving position, located in the rear propulsion and intelligent solutions to optimize interior space.
"New generation discovers benefits of living in urban centers, offering easy access to business, entertainment and socializing," said Dave Marek, Director of Design at Honda R & D Americas. "Personal-Neo Urban Transport Concept explores the potential of a vehicle designed exclusively in towns of mobility assets.
Outer style concept Honda P-NUT is dominated by sharp angles and dynamic lines crossing car from one end to another, creating an aggressive look but allowed an open interior space with excellent visibility. The exterior design was meant as premium and sophisticated, but maintaining balance between the need for maximum interior space and aerodynamic appearance. Interior configuration, along with positioning the back of motorisation, contribute to the overall shape of the exterior.
Inside, the concept Honda P-NUT, the central position of the driver flanked by two more in the rear seats offer generous space for all its occupants, the equivalent of a mid-class sedan, although its exterior dimensions are low class. Furthermore, Honda has integrated and intelligent solutions in the cockpit, and rear seats that slide to increase cargo space. Windscreen displays information on head-up display "for the navigation system and reversing camera.
Modular area of the engine compartment was designed to accommodate various propulsion technologies, including a small internal combustion engine, a hybrid or an electric motor with batteries.
Concept Honda P-NUT, its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show (4-13 December 2009) was developed to study the design of Honda R & D Americas, Los Angeles and currently there are no plans for production.
