Honda premieres at the Tokyo Motor Show

Honda will present the Tokyo latest version of the CR-Z hybrid concept, which will go into production, and two new concepts that are just design studies, for environmental technologies - EV-N and Honda Honda Sydeck.

At the Tokyo Motor Show, Honda will present the new version of the concept CR-Z 2009, using Honda IMA technology. When you go into production, Honda CR-Z sports hybrid will be the first model equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Besides the 2009 Honda CR-Z will also presented two new concepts for technologies.

Concept Honda EV-N is an electric vehicle with 4 seats inspired by N360, a micro-car company launched in 1960. Honda EV-N is equipped with solar panels that serve the battery charge. This concept is only a design study there were no plans for production.

In Tokyo, Honda will present the concept Sydeck, an MPV with 6 seats. Unfortunately, and this model is only a design study but is a very good example of how to implement the Honda IMA technology on a wide range of vehicles. The most important feature of the concept is Sydeck central location component hybrid system, which offered the possibility of equipping the machine with 3 rows of seats.

Honda booth at the Tokyo Motor Show (October 24 to November 4) will include and European Civic Type R, whose sales in the Japanese market will begin in November 2009. The area called "Hello" (from Honda Electric Mobility Loop), Honda will have some products based on electricity. In addition to EV-N, will be present and FCX Clarity model based on hydrogen, EV-Cube - an electric motor, the new U3-X and LOOP - a portable communications device.
