Honda recalls 1.35 million cars in service Jazz / Fit

Honda Motor announced Thursday that it would be a recall for approximately 1.35 million car Jazz / Fit manufactured between 2001 and 2007 for possible damage to the headlight wiring. In total, 385,000 units are in Europe. No injuries were reported.

Machines that are subject to recall cars in service are Jazz / Fit built at the Suzuka factory in Japan between November 2001 and October 2007. Approximately 735,000 units will be recalled in Japan, where Fit is the second most popular model after the Toyota Prius, excluding minivehiculele 660 cc Reuters.

Honda Fit recall also exported 143,000 units in the U.S. and 385,000 units in Europe, where the model is known as the Honda Jazz. The Japanese manufacturer announced that it would make recalls, and the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

In Japan, the recall will cost the company about 3.6 milestones yen (43 million dollars) but will have a negligible impact on earnings producer, said a putative word of the company.
