Tucson was very successful, having always a place in the top 5 most-sold SUV sites in Europe. Total sales reached 63.000 units on the European markets. "SUV's have always been a foundation stone to our success for many years and we have helped to boost the reputation of Hyundai brand in Europe," said Allan Rushforth, vice president of Hyundai Motor Europe. "In Tucson we have demonstrated our expertise in the production of SUV sites that not only meet client expectations, but we have helped to better define this segment.
