Jaguar: You Think The Entry Level Sedan Only After The New XF
Jaguar will not think the new entry-level sedan before he renewed the cornerstone of its model range, the XF. The announcement was the top in a Jaguar 'interview with Autocar: this is the new marketing strategy after the arrival of the English house in command of Briton Adrian Hallmark, also head of the Tata management team that takes care of the house of the jaguar.
Plans for a D-segment sedan and an SUV are alive and well, but will not be realized before 2014, only a year before the launch of the new XF planned for 2015: the latter will be conceived during or prior to the study of acesso new sedan in the range. The fear of men is that the British manufacturer's new "small-sedan" could undermine the XF is that, to date, the model that has actually saved Jaguar from bankruptcy. This explains the decision to delay this close to the new generation of XF.
"We do not want to kill the XF today with a smaller car," said Hallmark. "We kill only the next generation of XF." The latter certainly gain a few inches to keep the same "rhythm dimensional" BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class But even if the new 3 Series and Mercedes C rise in length and width (especially to make room for new models of low-end), it is reasonable to expect that the alternative Jaguar, the new X-type has very similar dimensions to those of the XF. But at the moment these are just speculations.
