Japan starts production
Japanese automakers continue to flash, Toyota and Suzuki weeks with us from stopping production schedules, while Subaru has announced plans to resume production at a minimum after two weeks of inactivity.
Other companies, including Mazda and Nissan continued to produce at low levels, assembling the remaining components in stock cars.
Honda Motor Co., working on the repair center as its global research and development, production continues to break. Honda closed its two assembly plants in Japan until at least April 3. They are stopped on 11 March, when Japan was hit by the disastrous earthquake of 9 degrees to the component supply chain cast into chaos.
Most of Toyota's 18 factories have also remained closed. Monday, Toyota said it resumed production for Toyota Prius, Lexus and Lexus HS250h CT 200h. But these lines are scheduled to be shut down Wednesday, mainly to ensure a balance for the inventory of components and to continue production at a low level.
According to Reuters, Toyota is not expected to resume full production in Japan until April 11.
Subaru said it will resume production of small cars dedicated to the local market on Thursday.
Suzuki said he will take the car assembly line closed until Wednesday and will reopen the plant for small cars Kosa Thursday. Sagara plant, which builds sites Kizashi sedan and SX4 models for North America is expected to be closed until Thursday. After this date still have not decided anything.
