Lamborghini Prepares Aventador Roadster

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency confirmed (accidentally or not, it does not matter) that Aventador Lamborghini LP700-4 Roadster will be launched in 2012. The Italian supercar will have the same engine and transmission as the coupe version.

Lamborghini officially launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March, Murcielago's successor, Aventador LP700-4, a supercar built of carbon fiber and having a 6.5-liter V12 with 700 hp and 690 Nm.

After the coupe version, it appears that Lamborghini is preparing a roadster version of the already famous Italian supercar. Environmental Protection Agency - EPA (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) has established the standard consumption and operating costs of each machine that is sold on the U.S. market, and first published in 2012 Roadster Aventador information. According to EPA, Aventador Roadster consumes 21.4 litres/100 km in city driving and 13.8 litres/100 km on the highway.

If you really confirm this information, Aventador Lamborghini LP700-4 Roadster will have the same V12 that develops 700 hp and 690 Nm, but probably acceleration and maximum speed figures will be slightly modified. Bolide will be convertible at the coupe version as a 7-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

Lamborghini LP700-4 Coupe Aventador costs 255 000 Euro in Europe, but the Roadster version could reach 270,000 Euro.
