Latest Euro NCAP tests: 7 of 8 cars received five stars

Euro NCAP has released the latest safety tests conducted by eight of the new models recently launched on the market. Insight, Sorento, Grand Scenic, Yeti, Legacy, and Polo Prius received the maximum five stars and the Citroen C3 only four.

Honda Insight, Kia Sorento, Renault Grand Scenic, Skoda Yeti, Subaru Legacy, Toyota Prius and achieved five stars. Citroen C3, because ESP system, which although is available on some versions, is not enough availability of choice marketed to get points, only received four stars in the Euro NCAP scoring system introduced in this year.

The two French car, the Renault Grand Scenic and the Citroen C3 have introduced speed limiters as standard on some variants and optional on others, and for this Euro NCAP gave the points to the safety category. This system helps the driver to maintain safe speed consistent with all road conditions.

In the rear impact protection, some car manufacturers have reacted quickly to the warning made by Euro NCAP, and now Honda Insight, Kia Sorento and Skoda Yeti have seats and headrests that provide better protection. In contrast, Citroen C3 and there was not disagreeing, the score received for this category is below average.
