Mazda sales were above expectations in September

European car market saw a slight jump in September, a decrease of only 2.6%. Mazda has shown good results in September due to increased sales for the new Mazda3, launched several months ago.

16 European countries exceeded their monthly sales projections, resulting in a volume that exceeded 8% objectives in Europe.

United Kingdom is in first place in the top, recording two monthly records absolute - the volume of sales of 11,400 units sold, up 20%, and estimated market share of 3.1%. And Portugal has made an absolute record last month, where Mazda has the highest estimated monthly market share so far of 2.9%. Records of sales were recorded in Turkey (up by 400%) and Tunisia (21% increase).

Four countries recorded increases in sales in September. In Germany, Mazda had one of the best months of 2009, with 6692 registered car, meaning an increase of 26.8%. Sales have been growing in Spain (2%), Belgium and Luxembourg (16%) and Ireland (2%). And Mazda has made in Switzerland, despite difficult economic conditions, an equal volume of sales in September last year.
