Mazda2 facelift, the world premiere at the Paris Motor Show

Mazda has officially announced that this year at the Paris Salon will focus on reducing fuel consumption and emissions by introducing three new models: Mazda2 facelift AND Mazda3 Mazda5 with a new diesel engine

Mazda2 - voted 2008 World Car of the Year - has received a facelift, as shown in the premiere in Paris the following major changes: a new front, revised interior, upgraded engines range from pollution norms EU5, improved chassis for better comfort and automatic transmission for the first time brought within range.

Besides Mazda2 facelift, the new Mazda5 is unveils a new MZ-CD 1.6 diesel engine, more economical.

Mazda3 will also be present in Paris with a novelty: MZ-CD 1.6 diesel engine enhanced, now offering more power and torque (+ 12% 6 hp and torque), but at a lower fuel consumption (average consumption 4.4 litres/100 km), and lower CO2 emissions (117 g CO2 / km). Also, Mazda3 and receiving a new six-speed transmission, easier.

More details will be revealed with the opening of the Paris Motor Show (October 2 to 17, 2010).
