Mechanical Dacia plant celebrates production of 1 million gasoline engines

Wednesday, July 22, at Mechanics Factory Dacia was made petrol engine type K7 with number 1000000. K7 manufactured engines fitted to vehicles of Dacia Logan and Sandero range, assembled at plants in Pitesti and Renault.

This engine came into the current production at Dacia in 2004, the year that were carried by 29,000 units. In 2008 were 243,000 engines, and in the first half of 2009 came on the assembly line propulsion 131,000.

K7 manufactured engines fitted to vehicles of Dacia Logan and Sandero range manufactured at Dacia and Renault factories in Russia, Morocco, Colombia, South Africa, India, and Renault Kangoo vehicles assembled at Maubeuge in France.

Engine assembly line at Mechanics Factory Dacia is flexible, allowing it to assemble three types of propulsion - 1.4 MPI, 1.6 MPI and the 1.9 dCi Renault Kangoo. Production capacity of 1630 engines per day.

Prior to this record, Mechanical Factory Dacia celebrated passage of two other thresholds of manufacturing two million transmissions and a million Injun.

Logan for first transmissions were produced at Dacia in May 2004, after the transfer lines and assembly uzinaj the Société Nouvelle des Transmissions Le Mans (France). The pieces are mounted on vehicles in the Logan and Sandero range manufactured at Dacia and Renault plants in Russia, Morocco, Colombia, India, Brazil and South Africa.

Production of the Dacia Injun began in January 2006 and chiulasele are delivered factory line factory assembly of engines and Mechanical Dacia Renault factories in Turkey and Brazil.
