Mercedes-Benz launches new C-Class Coupe at Geneva

Mercedes-Benz, in its 125th year history, entering a new market segment, offering a classic coupe compact class. Mercedes C-Class Coupe will be premiered at the Geneva Motor Show in March and will reach the market in June.
C-Class range is extended with a coupe format that combines pure driving pleasure with exemplary efficiency. In terms of attitude, the junior model is designed for customers aged between 35 and 45 years with professional success, who love life and have a strong sense of responsibility, Mercedes-Benz said in a press release.
"By expanding our portfolio C-Class target new customers," said Joachim Schmidt, director of sales and marketing at Mercedes-Benz Cars. "The new model is youthful, stylish and dynamic. What we offer is an exceptional sporting way to enter the world of Mercedes-Benz coupe sites.
With a design inspired by the new CLS, Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sports Coupe but offers four comfortable seats and rear seats if needed can be folded flat to make more room for luggage.
The engine range consists of three petrol and two diesel units, all with direct injection system according to start / stop standard. All engine variants are classified BlueEFFICIENCY, showing that they are efficient and environmentally friendly. Mercedes-Benz C 180 BE 156 hp, 204 hp C 250 and C BE 350 BE 306 bhp petrol models range form. C 220 CDI C 250 CDI 170 hp and 204 hp are diesel engines.
When will be its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show (March 3 to 13), the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe will arrive in European showrooms from June 2011.
