Mini launch a special edition called Graphite in the U.K.

Mini is offering a special Graphite limited edition of its One, Cooper and Cooper D models that comes with many standard options and is available under the appearance models Mini One, Cooper and Cooper D. Graphite. All editions of the Graphite will feature Dark Silver metallic paint, which has previously only been used on the Cooper S and John Cooper Works Minis.

Fans of small cars will shortly be able to order the special edition MINI Graphite. Limited-run models have been hugely successful since the launch of the new MINI in July 2001.

In recent years, editions carrying the monikers Checkmate, Park Lane and MINI One Se7en have set MINI owners apart from the pack and are highly sought after in the used car market.

In the case of the One Graphite, extra equipment also includes 15" Rotator Spoke alloy wheels, black bonnet stripes, white indicator lenses, a piano black interior and Graphite badges on the door pillars. The Cooper and Cooper D Graphites get 16" wheels and a choice of black or white bonnet stripes.

Models Cooper Cooper D Graphite and Graphite will cost 16,500 euro respectively 17,700 euro and buyers can choose between either a hood or white striped with black stripes while both versions will get alloy wheels larger than 16 inches. According to Mini, if a buyer should choose these options over the standard hatchback car, the total cost would be more than 300 euros towards the cost of Graphite.
