Mitsubishi i MiEV in Japan won the award for "Most Advanced Technology"
In the Tokyo Motor Show, Mitsubishi i MiEV electric model was declared winner "The advanced technology offered to the jury" Car of the Year "in 2010 in Japan.
i MiEV is a car that does not compromise the environment. It was found that Mitsubishi has joined Li-Ion battery technology with a car with four seats and managed to do so in series production.
It is available in Japan since July this year, all 1400 units being produced for the Japanese market. All copies have been sold and there are still 900 orders for production next year.
European production starts in October 2010. The drive on the left will be available on various European markets late. United Kingdom receives the Japanese automobile production and will be the first European country in which MiEV will be available early December 2009.
