Mitsubishi i-MiEV is "electric car of 2009 '"
Next to be launched in Europe, i-MiEV electric model from Mitsubishi was awarded "electric car of 2009" in Britain. This distinction was given GreenFleet awards ceremony held in London.
The title "Electric Car of 2009" is a recognition of qualities of this car, even before the much awaited commercial launch in European markets at the end of 2010.
Mitsubishi i-MiEV has been praised for the practical side as four seats available to passengers and a decent trunk, autonomy and short charging time of batteries. Also counted and the simplicity and ease with which orders can be used.
Mitsubishi i-MiEV was released in Japan this year and is the first zero-emission from a long list. At the Tokyo Motor Show, Mitsubishi introduced the concept PX-MiEV, an SUV hybrid future with other 'green' technologies that ClearTec version of the model Colt Mitsubishi satisfying future diesel Euro 5 pollution rules, plus efficient CVT transmission and TC-SST.
Before the European launch in 2010, the first 25 i-MiEV will arrive in Britain in November 2009 and will attend a special program of tests to be held in the West Midlands.
