Mitsubishi will supply 25 units i-MiEV a demonstration program in the UK

Mitsubishi has announced the delivery of 25 units i-MiEV a demonstration program to be held in the West Midlands in the UK. The program is run by the British through the Technology Strategy Board.
The first units have already been delivered on December 12, from Birmingham, in a formal ceremony.
Government Program aims to promote cars with low CO2 emissions. The program will be used more environmentally friendly cars, thereby creating the opportunity to use these vehicles in working conditions on British roads. Through this program will be evaluated and capabilities of these cars side "cross". It also will promote the construction of infrastructure for this type of car.
Mitsubishi i-MiEV electric car launched in July the Japanese market. Production and global distribution will be made in 2010, the Japanese manufacturer is currently engaged in activities to promote and test the model Mitsubishi i-MiEV.
