Mitsubishi i-MiEV, the European version of the Paris Motor Show

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation will present the premiere at the Paris Motor Show in October, 100% electric model i-MiEV, with European specifications. It will hit the market in December, priced under 30,000 euros.

European specification model Mitsubishi i-MiEV will be available in December in 14 countries, including France, Britain and Germany, as of 2011 will reach to other regions.

Price for i-MiEV (car + battery) will differ from country to country, but according to the manufacturer will be between 33,000 and 35,000 euros. Thus, the final price for customers after the state bonuses (where applicable) will be less than 30,000 euros, in most countries where it is marketed.

Compared with the version that is sold on the Japanese market, the European model Mitsubishi i-MiEV is a new design of bars front and rear, by European standards, the center console has rearranged instruments and interior comfort has been improved slightly.

Moreover, active and passive safety have been improved by adding AUC (Active Stability Control), and side and curtain airbags all standard.

Mitsubishi i-MiEV electric motor is 49 kW (65 hp) and batteries, which recharge fully in 9:00 (or 30 minutes up to 80%), offer a range of about 145 km at a speed 130 km / h.

A total of 12 vehicles (seven days dedicated to press) will be displayed at the Mitsubishi booth in Hall 3 at the Paris Motor Show (2 to 17 October 2010), including recently released crossover ASX (RVR in Japan), equipped with new Diesel "low impact" 4N13. Also present will be the model Lancer Sportback DID 150 hp and the new 177 hp Outlander 2.2 DID.
