New generation Audi A3 the first official details

Audi has released several sketches of the future A3, including the sedan version, expected to debut in concept to premiere at Geneva in March. Audi A3 could debut at New York Auto Show on 22 April.

Sketches look reveals revolutionary three-door version of the Audi A3, the company's best selling model, but is expected to have some vehicle and pronounced edges look slightly anglar than the current model.

For the interior, the Audi A3 Cab will adopt a traditional, current models but will certainly include many high technology taken from the top of the range models, including the MMI and large display for infortainment.

Sedan version of the Audi A3, recently seen as a concept, will be launched hatchback model, 3 and 5 door, being intended mainly U.S. and China markets, but could be launched in Europe in 2012 - 2013. Audi A3 sedan will have a wheelbase of 2630 mm, 35 mm more than the three-door version will also be wider and below, very close to the original Audi A4 size.

According to sources from the German company, the new generation Audi A3 will also receive a hybrid, Hybrid Rechargeable (plug-in), LPG or even 100% electric. Obviously the main engines are petrol and diesel.

The new Audi A3 is expected to make his debut world premiere at New York Auto Show (April 22-May 1, 2011).
