New generation Nissan Micra was launched in Geneva

Update! Nissan has revealed the first details of a new global vehicle - the next generation Micra. After the premiere will be presented in Geneva, the model will be launched in March 2010 in Thailand, as in Europe will arrive in autumn.

Nissan has officially confirmed that it will present the world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show a new global model of very small - Micra's replacement. Sales of the new Nissan Micra will begin in Thailand in March and will arrive in Europe in autumn.
January 19, 2010 update:
New Nissan Micra will be revealed for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show (2-14 martie 2010) according to information within the company, quoted by Autocar. Moreover, the new Micra will be built two vehicles.
Class hatchback version of the model Mini in India will reach the market in May, the car being built at the new factory of Chen. A year later will be built and a sedan version, but with little chance to reach out to Europe, telling journalists the Tour. Along with this, Nissan will build a MPV based on the same platform, in 2012.
The same sources, the new generation Renault Clio (4) will be developed on the same platform can be built in India.
UPDATE: October 19, 2009 Nissan has recently revealed the first official sketches of new generation Micra, pointing out that the new subcompact model will sport a better design than the current model.
