New Porsche Boxster Spyder - 320 bhp - the first time at the Salon in Los Angeles

New Porsche Boxster Spyder, with a 3.4 liter engine of 320 hp and soft-top roof will be its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show in December. Market will reach 2010, at a basic price of 53,100 euros, before taxes.

Weighing just 1275 kg, the new Boxster Spyder is the lightest model in the range Porsche. Recognizable at first glance, the new roadster motor centrally located is the most pure sports car from Porsche - light, strong, convertible and very effective.

This is the formula already applied to the most successful sporty for street racing, from the legendary 550 Spyder to the RS Spyder, with excellent results in motorsport.

Six-cylinder 3.4-liter direct injection develops 320 hp, 10 more than the Boxster S. Thrust is on the rear axle and gearbox PDK (optional) next to System Launch Control allows acceleration from 0 -100 km / h in 4.8 seconds and top speed of 267 km / h. Fuel consumption, all the transmission PDK, is only 9.3 litres/100 km.

Developed primarily for driving in the open, the roof soft-top serves only to protect the driver and passenger of bright sunshine, wind and precipitation.
