New Volkswagen Caravelle and California made its debut at Frankfurt

Volkswagen has today unveiled first details and photos of new models Caravelle and California, before the beginning of World Auto Show in Frankfurt in September. New-van will be available on the market in January 2010.

Volkswagen is one of the auto manufacturers with the richest experience in vehicles for people transportation and van sites, and improve new generations to provide the latest technology, comfort and safety with lower pollutant emissions and reduced consumption of fuel by about 10% in the range.

New Volkswagen Caravelle and California is noted by a Facelift exterior that includes a new design of the headlights and radiator grid, similar to the new Polo and Golf 6, optical blocks changed back in May and aerodynamic exterior mirrors.

Inside, the new models from Volkswagen utilities received flounce three hospital board tools with a new design, an indicator of change of stairs speed, USB interface "Media-in", the latest audio systems and navigation with touchscreen integrated.

New Volkswagen Caravelle and California have received the latest generation of ESP with hill-start assist function and activation of lights at the emergency brakes, and the novelty is worth the Volkswagen Side Assist system, first introduced the Touareg (warns the driver to detect another vehicle in neutral) and the TMD (Tire Monitor Display).

Range of propulsion for new models Volkswagen Caravelle and California is comprised of four four-cylinder engines, 2.0 TDI. They provide powers of 84, 102, 140 and 180 HP, all respecting the rules of pollution EU5. New models and enjoy the new DSG automatic transmission with seven gears, available in 2010 with the full traction 4MOTION.

After that will be presented in premiere at the Auto Show in Frankfurt (15-27 September 2009), the new Volkswagen Caravelle and California will be available on the market in January 2010. Prices will be near the issue.
