Nissan LEAF at Europe will cost less than 30,000 Euros

Nissan announced that the new fully electric vehicle, Nissan LEAF will have starting price of less than 30,000 euros, after most European countries will give each state a premium price - comparable to a vehicle equipped with diesel or hybrid.

Nissan also announced actual market prices in the UK, Netherlands, Ireland and Portugal, the first four European countries where it will be first launched the new Nissan LEAF.

In the UK, Nissan LEAF will cost 23,350 Pounds (27,471 euros), after deduction of bonus state, in the Netherlands will cost 32,839 Euros, the Dutch will receive tax cuts between 6000 and 19,000 Euros for a period of five years. In Ireland and Portugal, Nissan will cost 29,995 Euros LEAF, after deduction of premiums paid by the state.

All prices include battery and bookings will start in July 2010. First deliveries are expected in December.

Nissan Leaf has an electric motor that produces 80 kW (109 hp) and 280 nm, and can reach a top speed exceeding 140 km per hour Autonomy is at least 160 km, and battery charging (80%), fast mode is performed in less than 30 minutes and 100% are needed about 8:00.
