Nissan presented the first details of a commercial vehicle based on electrical NV2000

Nissan has unveiled a first draft of a light commercial vehicle, electric propulsion, based on the recently launched Nissan NV2000. This is the second electrical model of the four announced by Nissan, as LEAF.
Commercial vehicle may be used, Nissan said in a press release, as ambulance or taxi, can come in urban areas where CO2 restrictions. Van is one of four electric vehicles for the Japanese manufacturer announced the immediate future.
At the Tokyo Motor Show, Carlos Ghosn, President and CEO of Nissan, said LEAF - first electric vehicle of some product at a reasonable cost - will be released in Japan and the U.S. in 2010, Europe will arrive in 2011 and the other global markets since 2012.
The exhibition in Tokyo, Ghosn also announced production of a model electric compact class Infiniti brand and LandGlider concept that combines the advantages of two four-wheel vehicles.
