Official: new Peugeot 508 has revealed at Paris Motor Show

Update! Peugeot has officially revealed the first details and photos of the new Peugeot 508, the Sedan and SW version. The new model will be presented the world premiere in Paris in October and will reach the European markets in early 2011.

The new model 508 Peugeot reaffirms its presence and ambitions in one of the most competitive market segment - that of high-class touring cars. Each model series 40X and 50x left an indelible trace of his time.

The new Peugeot 508 is a modern vehicle, the new generation, which perfectly fits the aspirations of customers who have kept pace with the times: it is dynamic, responsible and with growing demands.

Under the hood, the new Peugeot 508 engines benefit from very well positioned in terms of performance and fuel efficiency. Range, equipped with the latest technologies, will include new e-HDI system (new generation Stop & Start to improve fuel economy). Also benefit ba, several months after launch, and HYbrid4 technology, which offers 200 horsepower and thrust full potential, but with CO2 emissions of just 99 grams per kilometer (or zero in electric mode).

The new Peugeot 508 will be available in two body styles: sedan (with a length of 4.79 meters) and SW / SW (4.81 meters). They will be presented publicly for the first time at the Paris Motor Show and will reach the market in early 2011.

A photo of the new Peugeot 508 sedan, was captured during a meeting promotional video clip somewhere in Spain, has gone around the Internet these days. The new Peugeot 508 is expected at the Paris Motor Show in October.

It seems that the Peugeot 508 model series faithfully preserves the design concept "in May by Peugeot presented in premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March, at least at the back, visible in this photo. The only changes to the lights appear, less futuristic.

The new Peugeot 508 sedan will replace both the 407 and the flagship model, the model 607. The concept of planned production model measuring length 4860 mm, 1880 mm wide with a wheelbase of 2815 mm - 42 mm shorter than the 607 but with 168 mm longer than 407.

Most likely we will see the first new Peugeot 508 Paris Motor Show (September 30 to October 17), and European markets will begin sales early next year.
