Opel Astra orders have exceeded 150,000 units

European commands for the new Opel Astra topped 150,000 units in the first five months since Germany is compact on the market.

European orders for new Astra topped 150,000 in just five months after the launch of the new Opel market. This performance puts the Astra in a position to exceed the planned sales to Europe of 180,000 units in first full year of sales.

To get to meet demand for the Astra model, which has received "Golden Steering Wheel" and design award "red dot" Opel plant in Gliwice currently operates with additional exchanges. Astra is about 50% of total Astra sales in Europe.
