Preparing a new crossover Volvo XC30

According to latest information, Volvo is developing a new crossover model, possibly called the XC30 to compete with the BMW X1, Audi Q3 and future Mercedes BLK / GLK. New Volvo XC30 will be launched in late 2013.

Details are scarce, but journalists from Autocar say that the new crossover from Volvo, based on the platform of the Volvo C30 will have a length of about 4350 mm, which means it is less than the XC60 (pictured) with only 280 mm. Even though there is speculation that an extended wheelbase version could be built for China and the United States.

Regarding design, we can expect the traditional style Volvo XC60 similar. To distinguish itself, however, the new Volvo XC30 will get a more "dynamic" and a high-class interior.

The new Volvo XC30 crossover is expected to make its market debut in late 2013, but until then certainly will "breathe" new information.
