PSA Peugeot Citroen announces European production disruptions
Following the earthquake in Japan on March 11, part of PSA production of diesel engines will be affected from 23 March, after a supplier of electronic components located in the disaster area has ceased production.
PSA Peugeot Citroen has announced that from March 23 will be affected the production of diesel engines as a result of the disruption of the flow of supply of components from Japan.
According to French company estimates, will be gradually resume production within a week.
Meanwhile, PSA Peugeot Citroën production will be adjusted to best serve dealers and customers. Assembly plants in Europe partially affected by this interruption will adjust their production and introduce appropriate work programs in a week.
