Renault and Dacia increased 53.5% in Germany

In Germany, new car registrations rose Renault and Dacia, in annual terms, with 25.4% in December to 10,643 units and 53.5% during 2009, to 225,965 cars, according to official registration German car KBA.
German market fell by 4.6% in December, to 215,564 units, but increased throughout the year by 23.2% to 3.8 million units, according to a release of the institution, quoted by Mediafax.
Market share of Renault and Dacia was 4.9% in December, down from 6.7% in November. The two brands were in December, the seventh car market presence, being brought forward for Volkswagen (21.5%), BMW and Mini (9.4%), Mercedes (8.7%), Ford (8.4 %), Opel (7.9%) and Audi (7.3%).
In 2009, the French group controlled 5.9% of car market in Germany, following Volkswagen (21.2%), Opel (8.9%), Ford (7.6%), Mercedes (7.4%) , BMW and Mini (6.8%) and Audi (6.2%).
Sales of vehicles in Germany were supported in 2009 by granting by the government to dispose of materials worth five billion euros. The program ended in early September, but experts in the field believes that the effects on sales have been extended for a period of several months, by delivering cars ordered.
