Renault - Nissan Troika Dialog is negotiating with the purchase of the holding company that holds the Russian AvtoVAZ, said chief executive at Renault, Carlos Ghosn, in an interview with Russian television channel "Russia Today".

"We intend to acquire a stake in Troika Dialog has to AvtoVAZ and negotiate this transaction," said Ghosn.

Troika Dialog investment company, together with Renault and state company Russian Technologies holding of 25% plus one share in Russian carmaker AvtoVAZ. In December 2007, Renault has paid one billion dollars for its stake in AvtoVAZ, Agerpres forward.
