Renault Megane RS 250 - the first time at the Frankfurt IAA 2009 |

Presented at Frankfurt New Renault Megane RS 250, powered by a revised version of the 2.0-liter turbo engine which now produces 250 hp and 340 Nm. The new Megane RS 250 will be built in Spain and can be ordered in November.
New Megane Renaultsport (RS) 250 is based on the standard version of the Megane Coupe model, which added design details inspired by motor sport (front spoiler incorporates a blade with reminiscences of Formula 1). Inside, the new Megane RS 250 combines sporty style with exclusive comfort features such as height-adjustable seats with lateral support or the optional Recaro seats, steering wheel height and depth adjustable Renaultsport, covered with aluminum pedals, instrument cluster with a new design.
The new Megane RS 250 benefits from a wide range of facilities over from Megane Coupe, including dual-zone cooling, access and power inside without a key, 3D Sound by sound system and two navigation systems Arkamys choice: Bluetooth Carminat DVD and Carminat TomTom.
New Renault Megane RS 250 benefits from "PerfoHub" - the innovative system that is independent from the direction of the front axle. This arrangement separates all suspension and steering functions to ensure the handling and grip at the highest level. Also, the new Megane RS 250 can be ordered in two types of chassis: the standard, Sport and the toughest, Cup. The latter can be combined with a limited slip differential performance worthy of any runway.
New Renault Megane RS 250 is powered by a new generation of twin-turbo engine of 2.0 liter 16V which delivers 250 hp at 5500 rpm and 340 Nm at 3000 rpm. Engine improvements have resulted in an additional 20 hp and 30 Nm to Megane R26.R. Thanks to twin-scroll turbo 2.0-liter engine delivers RS 80% of maximum torque at 1900 rpm. The gearbox is a manual six-speed.
After presenting the premiere of the Frankfurt Motor Show (15-27 September), the new Renault Megane RS 250 will be launched on European markets since early November 2009.
