Renault shows new development plans

Renault announced a new strategy for development. French manufacturer wants to launch new models of high quality in Europe and developing markets model range continues to expand.

Renault Laguna and Espace said he will be replaced starting in November 2014 of premium models, high quality. The new models will be made on the basis of platform borrowed from Nissan. The French will make a decision on the new design in the next 12 months.

The French have completed saying that Renault will invest in medium-sized sedan segment big, wanting to launch new hybrid versions. Commercial vehicles segment in turn could receive a serious investment to develop and improve the quality of new models.

Flins batteries factory will produce over 100,000 from 2013 batteries for electric models. The plant in Novo, Slovenia will be used to produce new models Twingo and Clio Campus Wind, and in 2013 the new four-seater Smart.
